Architecture: Swedish Cabin

There's something so striking about this ebony-stained cabin against the stark white snow.  PS Arkitektur designed this beautiful cabin in Sweden and I'd love to have a little hideaway like this someday.  (via remodelista)

DIY: Pantone Cookies

Don't you want to make some Pantone cookies?!  I do!  Click HERE to get the recipe and instructions from Kim Creative Star.

Artist: Felice Varini

I'm like a kid being shown a magic trick for the first time when I see optical illusion street art.  These are beautiful works by Felice Varini, in Italy and Germany.  I'm dying to use this on a company's logo for when you walk through the front door and see it whole, but anywhere else it's fragmented.  (via unurth)

Accessory: Cell Carpet

LED lights in your carpet?!  Yes, you read that correctly.  I know!

Cell carpet with incorporated LED was first shown at the Paris Airshow into the Airbus A350 businessclass. The LED's are fitted into the aisles to guide your way.

Etsy Lunch Hour: VectorCloud

I found a new etsy shop that is awesome!  VectorCloud has an entire etsy shop filled with things I love and want.  Here are just a few of my favorites.

Architecture: 23.2 House

The 23.2 House by Omer Arbel is amazing.  I'd kill to have a living room that opened up directly to my backyard...especially if my backyard looked like this.  (via contemporist)

Finish: Floor in a Box

I use Tarkett quite a bit at work and am a fan.  I have not seen this new Floor in a Box though and think it's a  clever way to lay a floor.  You just roll it out of the box and cut as needed.  Makes for a neat installation.  (via notcot)

Interior: Hub Offices

Good lord I love this office.  Hub Offices in Madrid was designed by ch+qs arquitectos. I'm a fan of a mezzanine and love the glass front rooms below it.  The break out spaces are fantastic and love all of the natural wood used in contrast with the exposed concrete. (via archdaily)
